The Dublin School of Judo was constructed in 2006-7. The first class took place on 9th July 2007.

Built by Alan Martin who has spent a lifetime in the sport, who felt that now was the time to build a full-time Judo Dojo in Ireland. The Dublin School of Judo is situated in the townland of Tobergregan, Garristown, just off the N2, approximately 3 miles from Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Alan Martin, 3rd Dan Black Belt has been involved in the sport since 1974, and on a full-time basis since 1997

The Dublin School of Judo runs judo courses for all level of players, from beginner to elite athletes. Classes run on a daily basis, every evening, with the venue available to School & other groups during the day for Judo Instruction.
